Warby Parker Winter Collection

I’m excited to feature the Warby Parker Winter 2014 Collection. Warby Parker believes that “buying glasses should be easy and fun. It should leave you happy and good-looking, with money in your pocket.” After ordering my own home try on kit for free, I fully agree that this process is easy and fun! And I’m excited to show you the 5 frames that I decided to test out from the winter collection.

Sugar Maple

This pair was definitely my favorite. While I’m typing this post I’ve decided that this pair may be one that I eventually order from Warby Parker. I love the way the tortoise color blends with my hair and complexion. What are your thoughts, should I order them at some point? Or should I order another home try on kit and try a couple more styles out?

Amaretto

After interning in the accessories department at Nordstrom and selling hundreds of pairs of sunglasses the summer between my junior and senior years of college. I know that these frames are sadly too small for my face shape. These frames would be adorable on someone else though!

Pearled Tortoise

These frames are totally outside of my comfort zone which is why I really wanted to include them in my home try on kit. I think they are way fun and I really like them! However, I don’t know if they fit with my style. These frames would look excellent on someone who dresses a little more hipster than I do.

Oak Barrel

Don’t laugh too hard at these frames. I totally thought that they were smaller than they really are when I included them in my home try on kit. I feel like I’ve picked frames that my mom owned when my brother and I were born, but only in a different color.

Tea Rose Fade

For an even better laugh I not only tried this frame in one color, but two. Again, I thought they were smaller. The bottom color even almost matches the glasses my mom wore when my brother and I were born. They looked amazing on her then, when they were in style! But shouldn’t be brought back on Allison Ramsing. So for now I’m going to keep pondering about if the first pair is the pair for me.

I love your choices! What shape do you consider you face? Mine is wide so I have a hard time finding new glasses that don’t make them look even wider, I swear curly hair & wide faces don’t match! Haha 🙂 Great post!

Thanks, Anna! Face shapes confuse me to tell you the truth, so I really don’t know what shape to consider my face? If you have any ideas let me know haha! Curly hair and wide faces do too match, you’re beautiful!
