I’m a Gallup-Certified Strengths Coach!

I’ve been dreaming of the day I’d be able to be a Gallup-Certified Strengths Coach since 2011 when I began using StrengthsQuest as the textbook for the academic success classes I taught at The University of Kansas. I still use StrengthsQuest as my textbook now that I teach an academic success class at Washington State University Vancouver and in August will update to the new CliftonStrengths for Students textbook. Needless to say, over the years I’ve fallen in love with helping others learn more about their Strengths! In May, the process to start the dream finally became a reality.

I flew to Washington State University Pullman campus to take the Gallup Accelerated Strengths Coaching Course with 26 others from multiple WSU campuses. After successfully completing the course I coached six individuals and passed the certification exam. I’m excited to share that as of June 5, 2017, I’m officially a Gallup-Certified Strengths Coach! And I’m so excited to put these skills to use in my job at Washington State University Vancouver!

Allison’s Fashion Tip: I like to stylize my tees by rolling up the sleeves and adding a fun necklace to dress them up.

    1. I love that mural!
    2. You are so stinking cute!
    3. What does it mean that you are a coach now?! Can you help other people besides your students 😉

Thank you, Elizabeth! I’m in love with all of the murals in Portland! Now that I’m a Gallup-Certified Strengths Coach I can coach individuals, teams, managers, etc. and yes I can help others outside of work hours!
