Hosting Taco Nights Just Got A Whole Lot Easier with Paperless Post
If you’ve read this blog for very long you’ve probably already guessed that my favorite food is, TACOS!
When Peter and I lived in Corvallis we often had friends over for breakfast quesadilla nights. It was a tradition that I desperately wanted to continue when we moved to Portland. I tried to restart a version of it the first couple months we lived here, but after a few weeks amongst the chaos of moving to a new city, not knowing many people, and some pretty nasty anxiety and depression, I never fully successfully had those large gatherings as long as I intended to keep them going. The beauty of it is that it’s never too late to restart having friends over in large gatherings. Time to make this a monthly tradition, starting now! Friends, are you in?
Growing up my house was often the house that friends were spending time at. We’d cook up some frozen pizzas, play some games, and have a merry old time. I always dreamed that when Peter and I got married we host lots of dinners with friends. We’ve sure hosted our fair share, but I’d love to have people in our home more often.
One way to have people in our home more often is to simply invite them. Paperless Post just happens to have the most adorable invites for our gathering (see below for a sample) that even have my favorite food on them. Once you finally decide on a design (that took me awhile, so many cute invites Paperless Post!) for your invite, it takes no more than 10 minutes to send invitations out. Honestly, the part that took the longest was finding friends email addresses. Paperless Post makes the process of inviting people incredibly easy and it’s sure classier than the Facebook invitations that I used to send out.
Now, I can’t wait to make tacos for our friends and have a lively living room again!
