Weekend Guide for Cannon Beach, Oregon
One of my favorite things to do on a weekend during non-peak tourist times of the year is to venture to the Oregon Coast. I love going during non-peak tourist season because the coast is far less crowded and if you’re lucky you’ll get a fun coastal storm.
In this post, I’m sharing a few of my Cannon Beach favorites with you. One my personal favorite things to do on a coast adventure is to walk the coast. On Cannon Beach, you can walk the coast and see Haystack Rock, which you’ll see in the background of a lot of the photos.
To Eat (Bonus: They Have Gluten-Free Options)
I use the app Find Me GF to find gluten-free options in Portland and when I’m traveling. I found both of these restaurants through the app and can’t wait for my next trip back to the coast to have fish tacos and gluten-free pizza.
To Get Fueled For Your Day
Peter and I love spending time in coffee shops. After a walk on the coast, a stop at Insomnia Coffee Co. is a great way to get fueled up for the rest of your day.
To Enjoy Something Sweet
Re-stocking on saltwater taffy is a must in my book every time I go to the coast. I had not been to Bruce’s Candy Kitchen before and it’s now my favorite taffy shop on the coast. The quality and flavors of the taffy are incredible.
Staying at The Stephanie Inn is an amazing experience. The hotel thinks of every detail and does it to the highest degree of excellence. The rooms open up to the ocean so you can watch the waves from your room. The Stephanie Inn is a location where I hope to celebrate many anniversaries to come.
It’s probably no surprise that I spent the weekend in my favorite Little Bay Root attire. Little Bay Root makes amazing Pacific Northwest-themed merchandise. One of my newest Little Bay Root favorites is the Oregon Coast Vintage Sweatshirt. The inside of the sweatshirt is SO soft. This crewneck sweatshirt is perfect for keeping you warm at the coast and for chilling around the house all year long.
