When I was in second grade my grandpa gifted me my first fishing pole. I had no idea, at the time, that I’d eventually love time at the pond. As a kid, I remember going to grandpa’s pond being bored silly sitting on the boat, but enjoying my time with my dad, brother, uncles, cousins, and grandpa. The summer in between graduate school and moving to Oregon, many evenings were enjoyed on grandpa’s pond with family. This pattern is an ode to all of those wonderful memories at the Timber, fishing with family on grandpa’s pond.

This pattern uses one charm pack plus background fabric. It is a fantastic way to turn one of those charm packs you’ve been collecting in your fabric stash into a gorgeous quilt.
