This quilt pattern, Layer Cake Geese, was inspired by the flying geese in another pattern I’ve written, Layer Cake Stars. While cleaning out my fabric stash, I couldn’t fit a layer cake back on the shelf and inspiration struck out of necessity. So, grab a layer cake that’s not able to fit on your shelf and that background fabric that you’ve been trying to find a project for and fly your way through this pattern.
