note from the designer:
LORD, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth! You have set your glory in the heavens. -Psalm 8:1
In the midst of grieving the loss of my Nana at the end of 2020, I was fondly remembering learning how to quilt with her and trying to regain my ″sew-jo″. One afternoon, I was feeling motivated to rekindle those times together, so I dug into my scrap stash and started playing with my fabric scraps. Nana always kept every little usable piece of fabric, and it just seemed proper to honor her memory by creating with smaller pieces. This pattern is the result of capturing that afternoon full of memories. Whether you’re in the midst of grieving yourself, trying to regain your ″sew-jo,″ thriving in your quilting, or somewhere in between — may this pattern bring you perfect peace and fill you with joy as you create at your machine.
Happy sewing!
Allison
